During the 2014 Worldwide Partner Conference (#WPC14) in Washington D.C., Erik Tiden, Microsoft Dynamics NAV GM, announced the global release of the latest major version of its international ERP solution, dedicated to the Mid-Sized Companies, and Local Subsidiaries of Large International Groups, Microsoft Dynamics NAV2015.
This new major release, is providing “More Mobile and More Cloud” access modes than ever, with an ability to be natively accessed through various devices and web browsers. NAV is also improved in terms of Cloud hosting (but without detailed information regarding SaaS modes).
Regarding features, we can highlight within Dynamics NAV 2015 the delivery of a powerful and efficient NAV upgrades tool, and also an improvement of the Office 365 and Power BI integration.
The tablets user interface will be presented accurately during the next Directions EMEA in Poznan next October 2014.
The Dashboard, role tailored, is also improved, and becomes more informative and interactive, allowing a better understanding of status, at a glance, and with detailed informations, if needed.
NAV Reports, as invoice, credit-memos, orders… are also improved with nice presentations and formats (photo from @jon_rivers).
We will come back en of CY2014 with additional information on this new release of NAV, the Microsoft Global ERP.
